Abstract

Inorganic municipal solid waste are materials whose deterioration is very slow due to their chemical composition, such as plastic, glass, paper and metals, they are classified in this way to facilitate their primary and secondary separation. In the Universidad Autónoma Agraria Antonio Narro, Buenavista, Saltillo big amount soft inorganic urban solid residuals of which there is no evidence of separation and registration are generated. Considering the environmental problems that cause this type of residuals, the costs of collection and management; The present work was carried out
with the objective of quantifying the inorganic urban solid residuals. Inside the activities a visit to the main ten an ceare a was conducted to gat herin formation on quality, quantity and location of the containers, then runs were performed to locate them. Following this the departments where the sampling design would be taken were located, making an aleatory sampling design with the objective of assign equal probability to each area. The areas selected were Natural Resources, Socioeconomics, Parasitology, and The dining room of school. Was requested support to the personal of clean-staff, pointing the procedure of separating to the residuals, providing them five bags with dimensions of 90 cm per120 m, one by each type of inorganic solid urban residual, one for each type of inorganic urban solid waste. Weighting was performed for a month; from August 18to September 5, 2014 at a scale 5/10 Torey L-EQ. Was determined that there is a difference in the amount generated by type of inorganic solid residuals on the campus and do not have the necessary containers for its separation.
